The Barranco de Badajoz is a ravine found south of Tenerife on the Canary Islands in Spain, close to Güimar. It can only be reached by car via the road that goes to the volcano. Many years ago, the place was known for the mining in the ravine walls. The ravine itself holds a rich history, with tales of hidden treasures and supernatural occurrences. Filled with fear, the workers fled and reported their encounter to the Civil Guard. However, upon returning to the spot where they had seen the creatures, there was no trace of them.

We don’t have a paper trail with the Civil Guard to prove the story, but the galleries in the mines were abandoned after the walls collapsed in the landslide and filled with water.
